ThamesTICA Cat Show 2026 Stoneleigh

ThamesTICA Cat Show at Stoneleigh – A Purrfect Weekend to Remember (April 4–5, 2026)

The first weekend of April brought something truly special for cat lovers across the UK — the ThamesTICA Cat Show, held on the 4th and 5th of April 2026 at Stoneleigh Park. This highly anticipated event once again proved why TICA shows are among the most exciting and welcoming cat exhibitions in the world.

A Celebration of Cats and Community

Organised under The International Cat Association (TICA), the show followed its distinctive format — multiple rings, continuous judging, and a relaxed, spectator-friendly atmosphere. Unlike traditional cat shows, visitors could watch judges evaluate cats throughout the day. This creates a much more interactive experience, where you can learn exactly what makes each cat special — from coat texture to personality.

Stunning Breeds on Display

The show featured an incredible variety of breeds, each more beautiful than the last. Among them were:

• Majestic Maine Coon cats with their impressive size and presence
• Elegant Ragdoll cats, known for their striking blue eyes and gentle temperament
• Exotic-looking Bengal cats with wild-style patterns
• Unique and charming Sphynx cats capturing attention everywhere they went
• and many many many meorrrrrr :)

For me personally, seeing so many beautiful Ragdolls in one place was a real highlight — each one showcasing the breed’s signature softness, calm nature, and affectionate personality.

The TICA Judging Experience

One of the most exciting aspects of the ThamesTICA show is the judging system. Multiple judges assess cats across different rings, giving each entry several opportunities to place in finals. This creates a dynamic and engaging atmosphere, where results build throughout the day. It’s not only exciting for exhibitors but also fascinating for visitors who want to understand how cats are evaluated professionally.

A Personal Highlight – Raphdoll Cats Cattery

As the owner of Raphdoll Cats Cattery attending events like this is always incredibly inspiring. It’s a chance to:

• Connect with other passionate breeders
• Observe top-quality Ragdolls and breeding lines
• Stay up to date with breed standards and judging trends

Shows like ThamesTICA are an important part of maintaining and improving breeding programmes, and they reinforce the dedication required to raise healthy, well-socialised, and beautiful Ragdoll cats.

A Warm and Welcoming CATmosphere

Beyond the competition, what truly stood out was the friendly and supportive environment. Whether you were an experienced exhibitor or visiting for the first time, everyone shared the same passion for cats. It’s this sense of community that makes TICA shows so special — they’re not just competitions, but gatherings of people who genuinely love what they do.

The Puuurfect Venue

Hosting the event at Stoneleigh Park provided excellent facilities, plenty of space, and easy access for visitors travelling from across the UK. The venue was ideal for both exhibitors and spectators, making the entire weekend smooth and enjoyable.

Why You Should Visit a TICA Cat Show

If you’ve never been to a TICA show before, ThamesTICA is a perfect example of what to expect:

• Open, educational judging
• A wide variety of breeds
• Classic Siamese-style pattern
• Opportunities to meet breeders in person
• A relaxed and welcoming environment
• Lot of fun for kids and whole families!
