...and here we go again! Abroad trip to bring our beautiful Jura!
Oh wait - you don't know what I'm talking about? So let me start from the beggining:
In March 2022 we found beautiful kittens from one of famous European Cattery in Croatia.
Few calls (including video calls) we knew that we want her here in United Kingdom.
She was so adorable 🙂 very active, cute looking - on that moment we have a plan: we want to creat our own bloodline in our cattery.
'Waiting is the hardest part' (Tom Petty Song) and were bombarding the cattery with lot of questions, photos and videos.
Croatia is about 1000 miles away from London so we consider few transport options including Plane (Lufthansa) but at the end we decided - we are gonna drive to Croatia by car!
Almost 20h drive by car via 6 countries!
We planned this trip very carefully as the timing for Eurotunnel Inbound and Outbound has to be correct.
So many things could happend during 1000miles trip. After quick look on map we realized we can visit few different places and don't need to drive crazy at once 🙂
1st stop - Viva la France!
Quick Coffee and crunchy croissant and let's go! Crossing the border never been so easy - no passport check, just drive and only road boards will tell you - you are in Belgium now 🙂
2nd stop - Stuttgart, lunch time!
Stuttgart is capital of southwest Germany’s Baden-Württemberg state, is known as a manufacturing hub. Mercedes-Benz and Porsche have headquarters and museums here. The city is filled with greenspaces, which wrap around its center.
Traditional german lunch and we are ready for further journey.
Beautiful Stuttgart - cosmopolitan nature
After many hours driving finally we arrived in one of most beautiful cities in Austria - Salzburg.
The city is divided by the Salzach River, with medieval and baroque buildings of the pedestrian Altstadt (Old City) on its left bank, facing the 19th-century Neustadt (New City) on its right. The Altstadt birthplace of famed composer Mozart is preserved as a museum displaying his childhood instruments.
Easy to find AirBNB apartment where we could take a shower, eat dinner and sleep properly before we go for another day driving.

Early morning we went to MCDonald for breakfast and Coffee. Full bellies and tank in our car allowed us to drive another hundred miles. We crossed the border with Croatia around 10pm so couldn't see the sea while driving. Headed to Zadar - romantic place for dreaming holidays we didn't feel anything special about Croatia.
Before the journey we have seen many photos and videos from Croatia and it was long awaiting break after Covid restrictions (grrrrr).
